What strain are you growing? Is it Auto, Fem or Reg?
Are you growing Indoor or outdoor?
Are you using nutrients? Which ones? How much?

Mimosa - Autoflower from Queen Royal Seeds - indoor - Cal-Mag and the fox farm trio and finished with molasses until the last 10 days or so and just use RO water. PH is 6.5

I would like to get some decent lights for a tent thats 4 x 8 x 8. I would like to stay under $800 if possible, but really need some good lights.

Vivosun has some decent flash sales on lights they have a 400w 4x4 light for $300 and i think you save a little more when buying more than one i think lol. Mars hydro and spider farmer are also decent brands for decent prices you could check out. I personally use mars hydro and no complaints on there stuff so far but im almost positive you can cover your area for about $600 unless wanting higher quality brands

I grow in a tent the same size and I have a total of 900watts drawing from the wall between my two lights during flower and I sometimes feel like it could be pushed further. So whatever you are looking at make sure you are hitting at least that much or you will be wanting more. If i was shopping for lights again i would be looking at 1000watts minimum between the two
