When to germinate UK

Sorry if I missed a reliant post, keen to know when is the best time to germinate some outdoor feminised seeds ready for the UK season? I was thinking mid April as I don’t want them too big!

Up 2 you man, Pop the beans at start of spring & just use LST, Cropping to keep it on the downlow… Get the canopy nice & even… Also use pots to limit the size
