No problem, make sure that soil you used is aerated, charcoal works if you don’t have coco, perlite, or similar, charcoal is usually called biochar, it is important that it’s aerated otherwise oxygen doesn’t get to the roots, if it is very sandy and compact, keep in mind that when you water it gets more clogged up and forms a layer that doesn’t let oxygen in, and it is very necessary.
Never use distilled water alone, it harms the plant. Being distilled and having NOTHING, a reverse osmosis phenomenon occurs, meaning that since the water is empty, it steals ions from the plant and the substrate. Plus, the pH becomes unstable and changes, tap water acts as a buffer and cushions sudden changes.
You must mix it with tap water, at least 10% tap water.

Oh, thank you very much, I got confused, I meant to say tap water, but distilled, I mean I let it sit, sorry for the misunderstanding.
I use a dechlorinater and an air pump to help agitate the water. The dissolved oxygen is good for the roots. I use nothing but tap water but then again not all tap water is the same. You should also use a ph pen so your nutrients can be absorbed. I even ph the plain water I give bc it can affect the ph of the medium used. If the ph is off it may not uptake certain nutrients so it’s an important measurement. Different mediums need different ph levels, for example coco likes it in the 5.8-6.2, hydroponics is also in the 5.8-6.2 range, and soils prefer it more in the 6.5-7 range. Coco is considered a form of hydroponics by some. I use an Apera ph20, it’s on the cheaper side of the good meters. If you choose the biochar be careful bc it can clump up and it will absorb the water instead of letting it run through, coco will act a similar way by absorbing the water. That’s why perlite is a very popular additive in most mediums made. I use Fox Farms Cultivation Nation coco, it’s cheap and I have never had a salt issue. Actually I’ve used their Ocean Forest and Happy Frog mixes but I prefer the coco. I add lots of things to my medium but I’ve already written enough. I can add that later if wanted, I have lots of knowledge that could be given.
Hello again, I have another question, as the fertilizer says and the recommendation is 1ml per liter, and how much do I water until it drains, or do I use half, or do I have to make sure everything is completely uniform? I need help with watering with fertilizers please, my pot is about 20 approx
And will a fish tank air pump work for me?
Today I watered my girl with veg fertilizer at a ratio of 1ml per 1-liter bottle and applied about 500ml or a little less. Was the mixing and watering I did okay? I need your opinions
The manufacturer of whatever nutrients you are using should have a feed chart available somewhere, if not i would follow whatever directions are on the packaging/ bottle and take it from there.
You water enough to get a small amount out of the bottom, about 10% of what you put in. So if you water with 1 liter you want 1/10 of a liter to come out of the bottom. In a 20 liter pot you want to water with 1/10 of of that, so about 2 liters. With the fertilizer an EC or ppm meter would help with measuring your nutrient solution. What I do is mix a gallon at a time. I follow what the bottle says to mix in that much water. I start with 1/2 of what the bottle says and about 3-4 weeks in veg is when I move up to a full dose. Be careful bc too many nutrients will kill a plant just as not enough can. I think I covered most of what you asked about.
That’s what I did, but I gave it less than recommended even if it’s organic, or I don’t know if it works like that with organic fertilizer , What I mean is if the 500 ml watering split was okay ,it was my fault for not expressing myself well, I’m sorry, thanks for your opinion anyway
.
Thank you very much, I’ll try to buy a pH and EC meter
She’s 25 days old, but I want to use the vegetative fertilizer a little bit more, your girls are really beautiful, what strain are they?
Front right is a Permanent Marker, back right a Kush Mint, back left a Royal Runtz, and front left an own creation, the Candy Dynastie.
Yours looks good too, I’m excited to see how she progresses.
Looks like condensation to me.
When it’s cooler at night, the air can hold less moisture, so water condenses on the leaves.
Completely normal to me if you watered yesterday.
Cheers
It’ll be fine ![]()

By the way, plants also absorb water through their leaves, which should evaporate over the course of the day.
Thank you very much, I hope so.
It’s called guttation. Due to high root pressure, the plant takes up more water than it can transpire, which is why it often happens overnight. Possibly too high RH.
Occasionally it’s nothing bad, but if it occurs frequently, it’s a sign of overwatering. ![]()
That is completely normal, plants sweat just like we do.
There’s only one thing you should watch out for: when the leaves touch, water collects in those spots and won’t evaporate through the circulating air, which can create breeding grounds for germs. Personally, I always remove one of these two touching leaves—I take off the leaf that brings less benefit to the plant and leave the other. The same thing happens in the spots where they touch the tent wall, so I remove those as well. This way, the circulating air and exhaust air can regulate everything, and the risk of germs, diseases, or even mold remains lower.
