You’re on point
This is in practise “Industry Standards” for commercial/experienced growers. It’s quite fascinating, if you truly understand how Heat > Respiration ratio works. It’s very fascinating if you understand the theory thereof. Like you said, infrared is imperative to measure top leaves. But for less serious/experienced cultivars it’s best to probably just work with RH, to first understand the basic parameters, hehe!
*Pro’s also don’t feed soluble nutrients, but dry amending the medium itself so the plant farms for its own food instead off feeding the roots. This with optimal VPD immensely improves nutrient uptake. As you know, if the medium PH isn’t optimal it wont be able to break off all the elements for uptake. ( Dry amending the medium you can get perfect PH levels ) *Flushing the medium with PH’d solution cant raise or lower the “mediums PH” & some elements still wont break down.
But yeah, there’s more to cultivating craft cannabis than most growers know. It’s just less daunting & easier to work on “Relative Conditions”
Anyway, I’m so goofed atm, hence the 55 days it felt like to type this…

Well, just by understanding the whole concept also makes you a pro dude!

but if someone doesn’t agree with me, that’s totally okay and I do recommend doing your own due diligence on that subject and you will see that I was actually right.
