Good luck and success with drying
Thank you so much !!!
here we are in the sweet wait for the next experience ( tent drying )..greetings …
Quick question while I’m at it … out of the 2 plants, if you look closely, 1 is still shooting out pistils and on the other one, which is more exposed to the fan, they are withered .. is it normal for pistils to wither faster if the wind hits them? anyway I guide myself using a loupe and trichomes .
Yes, they oxidize if direct air hits them, and it will always produce new hairs and new calyxes, because the plant is trying to get pollinated by a male, and since there are no pistils [pollinated], it keeps putting out more, like a single reggaetonera in a club xD
I mean, how do I do it, send the loupe and trichomes ? thank you very much !!!![]()
Look at the trichomes on the buds / calyxes with a magnifying glass, not the ones on the leaves.
Yes, I knew that, thank you very much… there we are with just the magnifying glass ![]()

Over here, we harvested two plants early due to powdery mildew
. We did as suggested, we put them in the tent, with a standing fan, plus all the ventilation that’s already installed. They’re coming along well! We decided to chop because it doesn’t seem like the humidity is going to improve, quite the opposite… The whole littoral region is flooding.
Good morning, thanks for your info
look, here I’m currently managing humidity with heating and full extraction and ventilation…
For now, with lights on it’s around 45 to 50 and lights off 50 to 63 and they are controlled, there are no signs of any fungus, it’s a windstorm with the fans, but the issue is that I don’t see white trichomes, at least not how I want and the amount I want. It’s a matter of days, but it’s not happening.
Hey my friend.
Maybe it helps if you dim the light in the tent a bit and turn off the fans while you’re looking at the trichomes, the closer you get, the more sensitive good close-up shots are to shaking and overexposure
Maybe it helps ![]()

Thank you for this incredibly great compliment.
@Eli
Well, the day has come in my opinion, and with summer approaching along with the heat, I prefer to chop now and preserve aroma and flavor… Maybe they needed 1 more week according to my loupe, but for the reason mentioned, I’m moving on to drying…
It looks good, I was surprised by the final size of the buds and the amount of resin… Well, wrapping up the post and the follow-up, later I’ll post what I find during the tasting…
I put them inside the tent… ANY RECOMMENDATION FOR HUMIDITY AND TEMPERATURE PARAMETERS INSIDE A TENT FOR DRYING???![]()
For drying, I prefer 18°C with 58-60% humidity. The whole process for 10-14 days and then into mason jars with Bovedas or into Terp Lock bags for curing, about 2-4 weeks. With jars, they should be burped for 5 minutes the first few days, after a week every 3 days, and of course place in a dark spot.
Wishing you the best weed you’ve ever had my friend
Good afternoon, thank you very much in advance… look, it’s impossible for me to drop below 23 degrees because otherwise my humidity goes up to 70… today I have and will have 4 days of high humidity and rain around here!
and then it continues, to give you an idea, the autos I have outside saw 2 or 3 sunny days in a month.. The weather is awful, but well, it is what it is
Hugs…
PS: I’m sure it’s the best because I’ve never smoked indoor ones ![]()
