Yes, it’s the only real way to know the sweet spot, as herr_ tells you, the ones on the leaves don’t count either, only the calyxes, if you don’t know how to distinguish them, it’s right at the base where the hairs come from, usually green and teardrop or drop-shaped

Yes, I knew that, thank you very much… there we are with just the magnifying glass :magnifying_glass_tilted_left::magnifying_glass_tilted_left::magnifying_glass_tilted_left::magnifying_glass_tilted_left::magnifying_glass_tilted_left::magnifying_glass_tilted_left::magnifying_glass_tilted_left::magnifying_glass_tilted_left::cigarette:

Over here, we harvested two plants early due to powdery mildew :cry:. We did as suggested, we put them in the tent, with a standing fan, plus all the ventilation that’s already installed. They’re coming along well! We decided to chop because it doesn’t seem like the humidity is going to improve, quite the opposite… The whole littoral region is flooding.

Good morning, thanks for your info :+1: look, here I’m currently managing humidity with heating and full extraction and ventilation…
For now, with lights on it’s around 45 to 50 and lights off 50 to 63 and they are controlled, there are no signs of any fungus, it’s a windstorm with the fans, but the issue is that I don’t see white trichomes, at least not how I want and the amount I want. It’s a matter of days, but it’s not happening.

@BunkerAriel

Hey my friend.
Maybe it helps if you dim the light in the tent a bit and turn off the fans while you’re looking at the trichomes, the closer you get, the more sensitive good close-up shots are to shaking and overexposure

Maybe it helps :face_blowing_a_kiss::victory_hand:t3:

Best regards

Well, the day has come in my opinion, and with summer approaching along with the heat, I prefer to chop now and preserve aroma and flavor… Maybe they needed 1 more week according to my loupe, but for the reason mentioned, I’m moving on to drying…
It looks good, I was surprised by the final size of the buds and the amount of resin… Well, wrapping up the post and the follow-up, later I’ll post what I find during the tasting…
I put them inside the tent… ANY RECOMMENDATION FOR HUMIDITY AND TEMPERATURE PARAMETERS INSIDE A TENT FOR DRYING???:love_you_gesture:

For drying, I prefer 18°C with 58-60% humidity. The whole process for 10-14 days and then into mason jars with Bovedas or into Terp Lock bags for curing, about 2-4 weeks. With jars, they should be burped for 5 minutes the first few days, after a week every 3 days, and of course place in a dark spot.
Wishing you the best weed you’ve ever had my friend

Good afternoon, thank you very much in advance… look, it’s impossible for me to drop below 23 degrees because otherwise my humidity goes up to 70… today I have and will have 4 days of high humidity and rain around here!:sob: and then it continues, to give you an idea, the autos I have outside saw 2 or 3 sunny days in a month.. The weather is awful, but well, it is what it is :left_facing_fist:Hugs…
PS: I’m sure it’s the best because I’ve never smoked indoor ones :+1::+1::+1::+1:

Good morning :left_facing_fist: there they go, the first day has passed and so far everything is good despite 100% outdoor humidity …

Well, here ends the tracking of Nicol 1 and 2 with a very long veg phase due to lack of experience managing the indoor grow.. everything was new and I didn’t know how it would behave in freezing temperatures of 0 degrees.
It was quite a challenge and very fun, although at first there were 4 plants, but well, a lot of things happened..
The final result was about 258 grams of round and compact buds… Happy… thanks to everyone for the support and let’s go for more.

That’s really great, you got a pretty good yield out of it. I’m excited for your next grow if your first one was this good despite all the problems. Enjoy it, it’s going to be something very special.

Reply ↗

Thank you very much… yeah it was pure experience, for the next one I’d like to double and improve the veg time and from what I saw with this one with 4 plants, it’s totally feasible to improve the results to those target numbers of 500 grams in 1 square meter, :grin:

Reply ↗

That also depends on the strain , depending on the strain 400-700 g are easily possible

Reply ↗

And yes, it’s also true that there are higher-yielding strains than others… but what I was suggesting is that if due to a lack of experience—meaning poor environmental management—I ended up with 2 plants instead of 4, if I put 4 of the same strain, doubling it should be reflected in the final result. Not to mention time, I can reduce it because with 4 it’s faster to fill out the square meter… thanks in advance for stopping by, a hug and happy smoking..
